| | Model of the car: | Mazda Tribute | | | General comments: | The best ride in a truck or SUV that I have ever had. It combines a very powerful engine, a smooth transmission and excellent braking to turn this SUV into the best handling truck in its class. In fact, having extensively driven Explorers and Tahoes this small (yet large feeling) SUV delivers the goods.
Having driven extensively at altitudes ranging from 0 - 10,000' in all types of weather and road conditions, I am suprememly happy with my purchase decision. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | None that have become apparent. I have read complaints about fuel efficiency and transmission -- in the several thousand miles I have kept carefull track of fuel use (the Trib doubles as a business vehicle) and I get a consistent 20.6 mpg, city or freeway (poor driving habits are to blame for 99.99% of all gas complaints). Transmission is a joy. | | | Previous car: | Explorer, Tahoe, Axiom, Montero Sport, Highlander. None of them can hold a candle to the Tributes value, price, features and fun-to-drive. zoom-zoom |
