Tribute DX
| | Model of the car: | Tribute DX | | | General comments: | I am really pleased I found this website to compare stories. This is my first SUV after 6 Chrysler mini vans and they are fun in the Canadian blizzards. I never though I would listen to Cds but just pop in 6 of your favorite and you are set. 19 mpg was a little disappointing but I drive harder due to the power. Like many complain, I have a stall every 3 months usually during a coast period or going down hill. My emergency brake light warning light stays on all the time and door sealant trim on passenger side falling down. I don't use remote openers so no key hole on the passenger door is a pain. Now my biggest problem is the front passenger door won't open. It is stuck in the lock position and will get it checked out this week. Now that I have read all the horror stories, I would do research before buying another Tribute but the next couple of years with mine will likely answer that question | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Location of Ignition. Dash warning lights. Stalling. No option to use key in passenger door. | | | Previous car: | Plymouth Voyager Mini Vans |
